Description
Silon braided is braided, non-absorbable white suture made from polyamide. Braided suture from polyamide have excellent tissue biocompatibility, minimal resistance to tissue passage and high knot security. Silon is characterized by a strong knot-pull strength. Positive characteristics of Silon are higher tensile strength, lower extension, reduced capillary effect and a smoother surface.
Indications: Silon is suitable for suturing skin, subcutaneous tissue, transversely cut muscles, fascia, peritoneum, the organs of the gastrointestinal tract and blood vessels ligation.
