Chiralen monofil 1,5EP, HRT 17/1x0.75 m (PP 5433-2)

Chiralen monofil blue is a monofilament, non-absorbable thread made from polypropylene. The thread is hydrofobic, is not subject to degradation by tissue enzymes. Chiralen has a smooth, non-porous surface that guarantees a clean and smooth passage through the tissue – with a minimum amount of trauma. The thread shows no capillary effect and is therefore specially suited for stitches in infected wounds. Indications: In all cases where the long term or permanent guarantee of the firmness of the structure under tensile load is needed – in all surgical branches, especially cardiovascular surgery, orthopedics, traumatology (tendons), plastic and ophtalmologic surgery (optimal temporary easily removable stitch).
