Description
Laparotomy sponge is made of bleached gauze of 100% cotton. The gauze is woven from 17 threads/cm2. For easy detection under X-ray, tampons are equipped with X-ray fibre, loop allows easier manipulation. Sponge is folded into 8 plies, cross sewn to increase its strength.
Single use. Laparotomy sponge is used for body liquid absorption, at operations. It is used at operating rooms to manipulate with organs.
